Gordon Ramsay has dropped a major hint he’s planning a future stint on Strictly Come Dancing – confirming he’d be tempted to do the show “in a f***ing heartbeat”.
In fact, the world-famous TV chef seemed to be dying to take to the famous BBC ballroom as he spoke exclusively to Daily Star and other press about the dancing show.
The Kitchen Nightmares star, 55, even used phrases like “whatever female dancer I’m going to get paired with”, which would suggest his appearance is a done deal in his head.
However, the multi-Michelin-star legend admitted he was rather worried about his size-15 feet interrupting his TV dance routines.
It comes just after Gordon’s daughter Tilly wowed the nation with her Strictly routines on last year’s series – where she danced with her pro partner Nikita Kuzmin.
Gordon spoke exclusively to Daily Star and other press at the London launch of his new BBC cooking show, Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars.
At the event, Gordon spoke about a possible Strictly stint, how proud he was of Tilly, and how his huge feet might affect his performances.
When asked if he’d ever be tempted to do Strictly, Gordon replied: “In a f***ing heartbeat,” before insisting he wouldn’t look any good wearing sequins.
The star went on to praise Tilly for her success on the show as she “worked her a**e off practicing her moves, and explained he was grateful to the show as Tilly had missed out on a university experience.
Proud dad Gordon said: “Tilly was [brilliant], and even watching her do the Zooms for the uni and we had a big breakthrough three years ago.
“Megan was the first one to get a degree and none of them had had a degree in the family so that was quite a big one.”
“So Tilly wasn’t given the opportunity so we’re so grateful for the Strictly, and she worked her a**e off and so, you sort of forget as a sort of 40, 50, sometimes 60-hour graft goes into that two minute sequence so I flew back, watched it and thought ‘man’.”
Opening up about his foot-related dancing fears, Gordon said:”I’ve just got one problem, I’ve got size 15 f***ing feet, so whatever female dancer I’m going to get paired with…”
When asked which of the female professionals he’d like to be paired with, he simply added: “Someone that can handle size 15 feet.”
The renowned chef also spoke about his upcoming show, Future Food Stars, which pits 12 of the UK’s best up-and-coming food and drink entrepreneurs against each other in a bid to win his whopping £150k investment from his own pocket.
Speaking about the show, Gordon took a cheeky swipe at Lord Sugar as he joked about ‘rubbing’ the business titan’s feathers.
It’s because Gordon’s new show follows a similar format to the Apprentice, which also sees entrepreneurs face weekly challenges in a bid to earn Lord Sugar’s investment.
Describing his show, Gordon said: “It’s a food and drink lifestyle business show, so fingers crossed its gonna rub Alan Sugar’s feathers the wrong way.”
He then joked: “I think I’ve lost a customer there. Who gives a f**k?
Ramsay later said: “Obviously [I’m a] big fan of The Apprentice and that business sense and so asking ‘can we have a look at the food and drink business in the UK?’ and knowing how many difficulties everybody’s experienced, not just over the last two years but just how hard it is to break through in the market…

“It’s a food and drink business show with some great products, great characters and a lot of challenges.”
Talking about how the show came about, Gordon said it was all about bringing “a little bit more magic to the industry”.
“When were started talking with [his team], it was about bringing a little bit more magic to the industry and looking at the bourgening ideas that had been created 15 years ago.
“The show wasn’t possible because we never had that respect in central Europe as a stand-out industry so now we are in an amazing position to rival fellow countries with some amazing food and drink ideas.”
Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars airs March 31 at 9pm on BBC One.
