Holly Willoughby 'had dispute with neighbours over disruption building £3m castle'

This Morning star Holly Willoughby has reportedly had a series of disputes with neighbours while attempting to extend and renovate her £3million home.

The 41-year-old presenter lives in a stunning London six-bedroom home with her husband Dan Baldwin and three children – Harry, 12, Belle, 10 and Chester, seven.

The couple have lived in their current property since 2011.

And plans to extend the incredible property were not met with cheer, as neighbours feared the “disruption” adding a first floor side and front extension would cause.

Their original plans – which included other alterations – were initially rejected by the local council, but after some changes Holly and Dan were granted permission to build.

Furious neighbour Liliana Velez was left fuming at the news, as she argued to The Sun: “Having the noise all week all day for so many months is not the standard of living in such an expensive area to live…

“I do not pay taxes to get this level of disruption, it is not quality of life.”

Another member of the community, Julie Halstead, raised concerns about local wildlife, as well as loss of privacy for the homes around Holly’s extensive property.

She said “further development as per proposal, would severely impact the character and nature of this part of the road and community”.

One letter, seen by The Sun, further claimed: “My work space is right by the project and having the noise all day and all week for so many months is not the standard of living in such an expensive area to live.”

Holly presents This Morning alongside close friend and co-star Phillip Schofield.
