Fans of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were left fuming over how much air time Matt Hancock was getting on Thursday night (November 10).
The former health secretary entered the jungle on Wednesday night (November 9) with comedian Seann Walsh after facing widespread criticism for his cameo on the ITV show.
The MP hasn’t had an easy time of it in the jungle so far as he was thrown straight into a trial with Seann and confronted by Charlene White about why he joined the show.

Boy George even broke down in tears and considered leaving the jungle because of Matt as his mother was hospitalised with Covid during the pandemic.

But ITV viewers also weren’t happy with the MP as they didn’t like how much screen time he was being given by ITV, so they rushed to Twitter to complain about it during the episode.
One fan raged: “ahhh I cant deal is it the Matt f***ing Hancock show why give the k**b so much air time !!!!!”
A second agreed: “Is it just me that is hating how much air time that cretin Hancock is getting?! I’m literally not interested!”

A third commented: “I don’t even massively care that Matt Hancock is in there, just p***es me off how much air time they are giving him. There’s 10 other people in there ffs”
One complained directly to ITV as they wrote: “Can you focus on the other camp mates rather than giving the vile cretin Matt Hancock all of the air time? @ITV your show is usually enjoyment for your viewers and you’ve really f***ed up.”

Another added: “Even outside of trials Matt is getting all the air time”
The episode saw Mr Hancock teased by actor Babatúndé Aléshé about the affair he had with his political aide Gina Colangelo, which resulted in the politician resigning as health secretary.
The MP was left red-faced after Babatúndé told him he’d “messed up” and been “grabbing booty” on camera.
Leaked footage published by The Sun showed Matt kissing Gina during the pandemic, which meant he was flouting his own lockdown rules as well as cheating on his wife.
