A good friend of Boy George has said that it’s only a matter of “two or three days” before the outspoken singer confronts newcomer Matt Hancock.
DJ Fat Tony, who has known George since they were 14, also said that his mate’s tears the other night “were not put on for the camera”.
The Culture Club singer broke down while talking about how ill his mum was with Covid and how he thought she was going to die.

As Health Secretary at the time, Matt instructed the nation to “follow the rules” and stay away from loved ones.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old broke the rules himself and was caught on camera in a clinch with a woman who was not his wife.
Speaking on Lorraine today, Tony said: “Boy George is one of these people who doesn’t harbour, he will voice it to a few people then he will go and confront him.
“He won’t do it in a bitchy, nasty way…it will be two or three days before he will confront Matt and express his feelings.
“He will have the conversation the rest of the nation wants.
“George will have an intelligent conversation with him. It would be easy for him to just react but the nation wants an explanation.”
Lorraine agreed and said: “And a bit of humility”.
Fat Tony also said that viewers should not vote for Matt to do trials as it merely “gives him more air time” and he needs to get rid of his “serial killer laugh”.
Meanwhile, Carol Vorderman made a cheeky dig at the controversial MP before he entered the I’m A Celeb camp as she claimed people were saying his surname wrong, insisting the “Han” is silent.
Joking to her 276,000 followers that we have been pronouncing his surname incorrectly, Carol insisted: “Apparently, to say his name properly, the Han is silent. Who knew?”
“Matt c**k. Matt c**k. I think I’ve got it right.”
Keeping the dig going in the caption, the TV personality added: “Practising saying Matt Hancock correctly…. apparently the Han in Han-Cock is silent. Who knew.”
