Before the Kardashians took over the reality TV scene, rock star family The Osbournes had the world hooked with their self titled MTV show.
Allowing cameras to take a deep dive into their everyday life, married couple Sharon and Ozzy along with their two children Jack and Kelly kept audiences around the globe entertained with their wild and hilarious life.
But despite the domestic programme being a smash hit amongst viewers, it failed to show all of the members from the immediate family as some chose to deliberately shy away from the show.

Ozzy and Sharon’s daughter Aimee decided not to take part but many have been left wondering where the star ended up.
Daily Star has taken a closer look.
Reality TV shun
Unlike her siblings Jack and Kelly, Aimee decided she didn’t want to be shown on the popular MTV show over fears it may affect her career in the future.
She also confessed that she felt uncomfortable with the way her family were being portrayed throughout the series.
Talking openly to The Independent, the star explained that as a teenager who was finding herself she found it difficult to be in an intense environment.
She said: “Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?”
“I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable.”
Despite her reservations, the family decided to move on with the programme.
She added: “It didn’t matter what I thought, ultimately. This was their path, their decision, and they were of course at liberty to take the opportunity. Which they did.”
Aimee then left the family home prematurely due to the show.
Family rift
Due to Aimee’s distance from the programme and her reality TV family, the star later admitted that it caused some friction between them.
She also described how frustrating certain events in her life turned out to be due to being separated.
The star confessed: “It’s been a frustrating journey a lot of trial and error. For years it felt like I was swimming in the ocean, all by myself.”
Although she is in a good place with her family, Aimee said she doesn’t have a close bond with her siblings Jack and Kelly.
“I wouldn’t say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No,” she revealed.
Music career
As she got older, Aimee decided to follow in her father’s footsteps by pursuing a career in music.
In 2010, she began recording and releasing music with her band ARO. However the band’s sound was a far cry from punk rocker Ozzie’s.
Despite their success, the band went quiet in 2016, and didn’t release another single until 2020 when their single Shared Something With the Night was written.
The band has performed all over the world with Aimee comparing her live experiences as like being “at Disneyland”.
Fire escape
In May 2022, Aimee experienced a fatal tragedy when a fire broke out in a recording studio in Los Angeles.
Aimee who was in the building at time managed to escape the inferno but music producer Nathan Avery Edwards, 26, unfortunately died in the blaze.
Taking to Instagram at the time to share the heartbreaking news, Sharon said her daughter is “lucky” to be alive.
She penned: “It is utterly heartbreaking that someone lost their life today in this fire and we are sending our prayers to this person and their family.
“What happened today was beyond horrific.
“I really hope moving forward that buildings like this are better regulated for fire safety.”
