I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has confirmed it’s heading back to the jungle, with fans pleading for more details ahead of the show’s return.
The ITV reality series has been held in Gwrych Castle, Wales for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a teaser which aired during an ad break on Friday (October 7), ITV confirmed the 2022 series will once again be filmed in a jungle in the Australian outback.

The fan-favourite location hasn’t been used since 2019.
Posting to Twitter, hosts Ant and Dec also shared the preview clip alongside eyes, luggage and Australian flag emojis – much to fans’ delight.
Reacting to the 10-second teaser clip online, impatient viewers shared their excitement that the show is heading back to Australia.
They also begged for more details about this year’s series, including the official 2022 celebrity line-up.
One fan wrote: “Omg I’m SO excited to watch this! Back to the jungle!”
Another commented: “Yyyyeeeeeeeessssss! Counting the days down to the start..”
Meanwhile, a third said: “Love this show and we will be in Australia at the same time!”
A fourth added: “OMG I’m so excited!!!!! We just need a line-up now.”
“Definitely a smidgeon of a teaser.. More please,” a fifth fan demanded.
While brief, the teaser does confirm I’m a Celeb is returning to Australia, with Ant and Dec also back as hosts.
In the clip, a helicopter can be seen flying over a jungle landscape, with Dec asking: “Where’s the luggage going?”
“It’s meeting us there,” Ant replies, as a piece of luggage is thrown from the chopper.
I’m a Celeb is predicted to return to screens next month, with stars including Seann Walsh, Boy George and Babatunde Aleshe all rumoured to be joining the show.
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will return next month on ITV.
