Joey Essex hopes to fall in love on I'm A Celeb Australia but there's only one singleton

Joey Essex made his debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! (Australia ) – the reality TV star has set his eyes on finding true love whilst in the Aussie jungle, despite their only being one other singleton.

The TOWIE legend, 31, made his debut on the Aussie version of the squeamish ITV reality show on Monday (January 3) and joined nine other Aussie celebrities on the show’s eighth series.

Ahead of his daring jungle stint on Australia’s Channel 10 show, Joey admitted that he’s ready to find love again while he’s out in the wilderness scrambling through creepy crawlies and queasy challenges.

Whilst the Essex flirt is no doubt a bachelor of his own kind, the reem looking lad only has one lucky lady to choose out of and it’s only the bombshell, Miss Universe Australia candidate, Maria Thattil, 28.

28-year-old Maria Thattil is a stunning former Miss Universe Australia contestant, a South-Asian Australian model and digital creator.

Maria might be right up Joey’s alley as during an Interview, the cheeky Essex lad described dream woman as Kendall Jenner – who is one of the most successful supermodels of all time.

Revealing all about his romantic hopes in the Aussie jungle, Joey revealed: “If I find someone single in the camp and fall in love, I’ll be the happiest man on earth.”

Joey and Marie may have to keep each other quite close, as there’s no doubt the pair will endure extreme levels of gruesomeness as they endure squeamish challenges down under in the competition.

Joey also starred in the UK version of I’m A Celebrity back in 2013, alongside the likes of Westlife star Kian Egan, Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter, and model Amy Willerton – the Essex funny lad finished fourth

Shooting to fame on the second series of ITVBe’s TOWIE in 2011 – Joey stayed on the show for eight seasons before leaving to pursue other projects.

He’s also appeared in several reality TV shows such as Educating Joey Essex, the dating reality series Celeb’s Go Dating, the ski show The Jump, and Celebrity Ex On The Beach.
