Louis Tomlinson makes savage one word dig at One Direction's debut album

Louis Tomlinson did not hold back as he shared his true thoughts on One Direction’s “sh*t” debut album, Up All Night, as he celebrated their 12th anniversary.

The hitmaker who found fame on The X Factor recently reflected on his impressive career which has seen him become one of the most famous blokes in music.

Despite being in the biggest boyband of all time alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik until his departure, it seems as though all was not rosy for Louis who has hinted that he wasn’t a huge fan of the lad’s debut album, Up All Night.

Speaking on Smallzy’s Surgery podcast, the 30-year-old said: “Twelve years ago today the band got formed, but the first album was sh*t anyway.”

While Louis may have found fame as a solo artist after the group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016, the hitmaker still admits that he faces levels of pressure ahead of his upcoming second solo record.

He added: “There’s still pressure obviously for me to deliver a good record and me trying to find my feet coming out of a band as big as One Direction.”

While fans may have been patiently waiting for his second solo album, the Two Of Us singer recently hinted that it could arrive rather soon.

During an appearance on The Project which airs across Australia, Louis was asked when fans could expect his hotly anticipated album.

Louis replied: “Oh, so the fishing’s begun already! Yeah, I see what you’re doing. No, listen, I’m immensely proud, as I know Liam is, I’m immensely proud of those days, obviously.
