Louise Redknapp looks unrecognisable in resurfaced Eternal snap from the 90s

Louise Redknapp looked unrecognisable in a throwback snap from her Eternal days in the limelight.

The 47-year-old grouped with her band members – Easther Bennett, Kelle Bryan and Vernie Bennett in the throwback image from the 90s.

Having stumbled across the picture on an Eternal fan site, Louise couldn’t resist re-sharing the black and white image of the foursome hugging each other tightly on her own Twitter platform.

Taking a walk down memory lane, Louise looked back at the decade with fond memories as she captioned the post with two emoji love hearts.

Fans gushed pleasantries beneath the post, with one person simply adding: “Nice.”

A second said: “That is one very young Eternal and one very young Louise.”

While other fans chimed: “I still love this pic,” and “one of my favourites.”

Meanwhile last week, Louise thrilled her loyal legion of Instagram followers as she announced she would be taking to the stage once more.

She wrote: “I’m pleased to announce I’m joining the cast of Fatal Attraction playing the role of Beth alongside @susieamy and #OliverFarnworth from 8th March.

“This is something really new for me I’m really looking forward to a new challenge and working with a great cast and fantastic director @fatalonstag”

While it is Louise’s first real acting gig in a theatrical play, she is no stranger when it comes to the West End.

Back in 2017, the Heavy Love hitmaker made her theatre debut alongside Sally Bowles in the UK tour of Cabaret.

Other stars of the production included Pop Idol winner Will Young and Barbed Wire actress Susan Penhaligon.

After appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, Louise realised she’d really missed her passion for performing.

Speaking to the Telegraph at the time about returning to the stage, she said: “It was one of the scariest things I’ve done, and the most intimidating.

“I’ve always loved singing. Strictly reminded me how much I love dancing. And acting is a new task to take on.

“There are lots of roles where I could just act or sing or dance, but to have the opportunity to do all three – that’s not something that comes around very often. I’m really excited.”
