Love Island 2022 star confirmed as stunning hotel waitress Indiyah Polack for ITV show

Hot hotel waitress Indiyah Polack has been confirmed as an official contestant for this year’s Love Island.

The hit ITV2 dating show is back with a bang for its eighth season, which means a fresh batch of singletons are set to enter the villa on a hunt for love.

Sizzling hot hotel waitress Indiyah from London has now been revealed as one of the official castmates by show bosses, who finally spilled the lineup on Monday (May 30).

The brunette beauty said she’s at a stage in her life where she’s ready to meet new people, and she thinks the ITV villa is a “great place” to strike up a spark with someone.

When asked why she entered Love Island, Indiya said: “I feel like I’m at a stage in my life now where I’m ready to meet new people and start dating properly. I have been single for some time and I feel like for my generation of people, it’s quite hard to date without being influenced by social media and stuff like that.

“Love Island particularly is like a closed space and I think it is a great place to get to know someone one-on-one and build a real connection.”

Speaking about what traits she’ll bring to the famous TV villa, she said: “I feel like I’m going to bring a lot of flavour and vibrancy. I feel like I’m quite a down to earth person, so it shouldn’t be an issue to meet a lover or a friend.

Hailing her dating record as “random”, Indiyah explained that everyone she’s dated has been different from eachother.

The waitress added: “Random. Everyone I’ve dated have all been quite different. I don’t think I have ever been out with two guys who are quite the same.”

Joining Indiyah in the villa will be hunky Irish scientist Dami Hope from Dublin and Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne.

Asked why he wanted to sign up to Love Island, Dami revealed he wanted to try “new things” this year, so he put himself out there.

He said: “This year I was kind of being more open to new things and I think actually that’s why I put myself out there to get some new experiences.

Senior Microbiologist Dami said he’s aiming to bring “just myself” to the villa, adding he’s hoping to stay out of trouble but sometimes it can’t be avoided.

He said: “Just myself – Dami Hope! Being me – funny and my personality. I don’t know if I will cause trouble, I’ll try not to cause trouble but sometimes you don’t intentionally cause trouble – but it happens!”

Laura Whitmore will return to hosting duties after presenting the show for the last two series.
