Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti has said he plans to fund a holiday for his mum with part of his winnings from the hit show.
The Italian stallion, 27, netted £50,000 alongside girlfriend Ekin-Su Culculoglu, also 27, after coming out top in the ITV2 dating contest.
The loving couple have been doing the rounds on morning talk and radio shows to discuss their time in the villa as well as their future plans.

Davide said that while he intends to invest a portion of the winnings, he has earmarked the rest for a special trip, explaining during a Capital Radio appearance alongside Ekin-Su on Thursday (August 11).
He confessed: “I’m going to buy a trip for my mum. We’re thinking of going to New York, me and Ekin and our mums.”

Love Island’s voting figures for this year’s final revealed Ekin-Su and Davide gained 63.69% of the vote, and unlike in previous years the winning couple did not have to choose whether to split or steal the prize money.
Ekin-Su admitted it had been “one hell of a ride” with Davide, but added: “They say Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither were we” before confirming they were “soul mates”.

Davide also revealed on radio station Capital Xtra that there is a WhatsApp group for the stars of the ITV2 show – but he has not been invited.
The businessman said: “No. To be honest nobody has still added me.”
He was then asked by host Robert Bruce: “So you’re left out of the group chat?” to which he replied: “No I didn’t left. I’d never been added. Not yet.”
It comes after Davide teased that he and Ekin-Su are on track to get their own TV show.

On Saturday (August 6) the Italian hunk teased fans by sharing a fan comment begging for the couple to return to the screen.
It read: “Petition for Ekin-Su and Davide to have their own TV show where they travel around Italy, eating food and arguing and laughing together.”
The reigning champ then opened a poll for his fans select between two options which were both “yes”.
