MasterChef fans go viral on TikTok after starting 'c**k and balls conspiracy theory'

Fans of reality cooking show MasterChef have gone viral on TikTok with their ‘c**k and balls conspiracy theory’ – the idea that camera crews are deliberately filming penis-shaped objects in the background of the programme.

Viewers are convinced that something has been afoot in recent episodes with a series of ingredients appearing to be laid out deliberately to look in a phallic manner.

Gregg Wallace and Marcus Wareing have been pushing chefs to the limit on MasterChef: The Professionals, but its the somewhat cheeky arrangement of food that has stolen the show on social media.

Viewers were convinced ingredients had been laid out deliberately in a phallic shape

As the judges set out to taste Chris Finnigan’s latest dish, the camera panned across his kitchen area to reveal the shot of two eggs either side of a piece of rhubarb, creating the phallic shape.

In a later shot in the series the camera appeared to focus on a glass bottle standing tall in between two limes.

One user commented: “The single most important conspiracy of our time is the MasterChef c**k and ball conspiracy.”

Another asked: “Is anyone else on Masterchef c**k & balls conspiracy TikTok or do I need to reset my algorithm?”

A third wrote: “Laughing at the Masterchef c**k and ball conspiracy vids like I don’t have an exam in a few hours.”

And a fourth said: “Not sure how I got on Masterchef promoting c**k & ball conspiracy TikTok but I’m loving it.”

Another food related video doing the rounds on the social media platform informs users on the best way to defrost a turkey this Christmas.

Jason Latimer said there’s a tip that can see budding chefs save a lot of time ahead of the big day.

According to The Sun US, he said in a video on TikTok: “Now a 20lbs turkey in a refrigerator could take three and a half to four and half days [to thaw].

“I’m going to show you how to do it in a handful of hours.

“The secret is to put it in ice water.”

Jason claimed water is “far more efficient at transferring heat than air”, and said as long as you ensure the water is near 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the process is pretty fool-proof.

The clever teacher said it will probably take around half an hour to defrost each pound of meat, so a 20lbs turkey should thaw out in around 10 hours.
