Nicki Minaj 'relaunching music career with comeback single' after Little Mix feud

Nicki Minaj is planning to rebuild her career after being dragged into a feud with Little Mix, it has been claimed.

The rapper rose to fame in 2010 but has not enjoyed much musical success in recent years.

In 2021 she sparked a war of words with British girl band Little Mix, specifically Leigh-Anne Pinnock, while defending Jesy Nelson after she was widely accused of blackfishing.

Now the music star is believed to be launching a comeback by teaming up with rising rapper Lil Baby, according to a source.

They told The Sun: “Nicki is ready for a comeback and has got Lil Baby on board for her track, called Do We Have A Problem?

“It will be released in the next few weeks.

“She has been hard at work in the studio over the past year and is hoping this can help gain her some momentum again. The video has been made to shock fans and she looks incredible, so it is all systems go.”

It was also hinted she is likely to find herself in a classic chart battle because rival rapper Cardi B is reportedly due to drop a new song of her own within the next couple of weeks too.

Nicki hit out at Little Mix while defending Jesy Nelson last year– who was accused of appropriating black culture in her music video for debut solo single Boyz – by wearing heavy fake tan and putting her hair in braids.

She said Little Mix stars Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were “clowns”.

Nicki said: “It’s a lot of women out here in the United States that tan, get bigger lips, get all types of s**t done to themselves.

“I wear blonde hair straight down to my feet, contacts, whatever… as long as you’re not hurting nobody or speaking negatively about someone’s race you should be able to wear whatever you want to.”

Nicki also hit out at the Government last year as she claimed she had a cousin whose testicles had an adverse reaction to the Covid jab.

England’s chief medical officer Chris Whitty accused the singer of “pedalling untruths” about the virus.

In response Nicki sarcastically declared her “love” for Chris on Twitter.

She later sent a tweet to Prime Minister Boris Johnson with a voice note mocking British accents and offered to share her “portfolio” of work with him.
