Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen was forced to rescue her son Reuben after he suffered an unfortunate farming mishap.
The famous TV shepherdess is a veteran on the Yorkshire farm as well as a mum-of-nine, so she’s no stranger to rural surprises from time to time.
But even she would have been taken aback when her son Reuben got stuck in the mud after failing to tow a tractor with a Land Rover.

The teen, who is studying to be a mechanic, was clearly in a bit of a pickle, so it was no surprise he decided to video call his mum for help.
Amanda was straight on the scene, but she couldn’t help see the funny side of her son’s tractor blunder as she shared snaps of Reuben’s failed “rescue mission” on Instagram.
Captioning a series of pictures, the mum-of-nine wrote: “Horsepower of a different type required. A long walk & a late night for @reubenowen74 after a Land Rover tow fail.
“A rescue mission gone wrong & now Mummy & brother Miles calling from bogged.”
Fans were quick to send their support in the comments.
One wrote: “Oh heck! I saw them walking along the A686 into Langwathby on my way home from work. I wondered what had happened. Hope they’re getting sorted.”
A second said: “Oh dear. Hope you soon get sorted although goodness knows how you get both out of than bog.”
A third commented: “Good luck!-don’t give up! All’s well that ends well-I had to be rescued with a flat tyre in town last week, and loads of people helped and rescued me! and then I did loads of work somewhere else! No pats on the back, but I’m happy!”
A fourth added: “Oh no, that’s a serious kinda stuck! Hope it’s sorted soon.”
It comes after fans praised “powerhouse” Amanda Owen for getting a difficult job done with “compassion”.
The 47-year-old shared pictures of herself expertly handling a male sheep and fans could not help but praise the mum-of-nine for her impressive work ethic and skills.
The TV star and author revealed that she was initially worried about shearing the male sheep as tups tend to be more difficult to work with than ewes.
