Phillip Schofield 'dumped from £1m We Buy Any Car deal' amid queue-jumping claims

This Morning’s Phillip Schofield has reportedly been “dumped” from his alleged £1million We Buy Any Car deal amid queue-jumping claims.

The 60-year-old beloved TV host has faced a huge amount of backlash after he and Holly Willoughby went to Westminster Hall to see Queen Elizabeth II lying-in-state in September following her passing.

And now reports say that Phillip has been axed from the We Buy Any Car brand, with the company said to be shooting new adverts next week.

These adverts will be some of the first without Phillip, who has been a brand ambassador, as well as the face and voice the company since 2018.

Phillip has reportedly lost out on his long-standing £1m deal

The Sun has reported that a said Phil’s deal with the brand is “massive” and “worth seven figures,” adding: “but next week they’re shooting a new campaign and he’s not involved in it.”

“There’s clearly a feeling within the company that he’s just not the right fit for the future and his contract will be allowed to expire.

“It has been a very successful partnership but it’s time for a change,” the source continued.

Daily Star have reached out to Phillip’s representative and We Buy Any Car for comment.

This comes days after Phillip’s snaps on the We Buy Any Car Facebook and Twitter banners were ripped away.

Instead of the Facebook and Twitter pages showing Phillip laughing with a lady, which was uploaded in December 2021, the snaps now show a mum and dad with children.

If you click on the new Facebook cover photo and then press the right-hand arrow, Phillip’s snap is still up.

Underneath though, there are two comments relating to the queue jumping accusations.

One person said: “Did he push in front of this poor woman too? Outrageous!”

While another person joked: “We jump any queue.”

This all comes after the petition for them to be sacked from This Morning has been signed more than 75,000 times.

This Morning issued a statement about the accusations soon after they started to circulate following their appearance at Westminster Hall, where they defended the the anchors.

“Hello everyone, we would like to clarify something,” the statement which was posted on the show’s Instagram page read.

“We asked Phillip and Holly to be part of a film for this Tuesday’s programme.

“They did not jump the queue, have VIP access or file past the Queen lying in state – but instead were there in a professional capacity as part of the world’s media to report on an event.”
