Queen Consort Camilla has become pals with drag queen Baga Chipz.
They met at a birthday bash for writer Gyles Brandreth last year and had a giggle.
Baga told me: “I met Camilla and we had a few drinks together. She is lovely.

“It wasn’t surreal at all. Camilla was more starstruck meeting me. She was saying, ‘Oh Baga! You look gorgeous.’
“We’re close now. Bring on the damehood!”
Baga joked she is a fan of Camilla despite claims she had an affair with Prince Charles while he was still married to Diana.
She said: “I can’t judge people. I’ve been with more married men than Liz Taylor. She’s a girl like me. She gets all the men. Keep your boyfriends away!”
It comes after it was announced that Baga will play Margaret Thatcher in Channel 4’s Prince Andrew: The Musical.
It won’t be the queen’s first stint as the Iron Lady, as Baga gave a memorable impersonation of her during the Snatch Game round of the BBC series in 2019.
Now, she will star alongside comedian Harry Enfield, who plays another former PM, Tony Blair, in a musical version of the life story of Prince Andrew.
Songs include: I Nailed It – “a high-octane duet set in the aftermath of the Duke’s Newsnight interview” according to producers.
Former Newsnight host Emily Maitlis – whose famous grilling of the royal produced his claims he cannot sweat and once ventured into Woking’s Pizza Express – is played by Emma Sidi.
The internet’s favourite comedian Munya Chawawa portrays Prince Charles and reflects on royal scandals in his solo performance of Obey, while Jenny Bede is Sarah Ferguson and sings a duet titled Will You Be My Ex-Wife.
The play’s creator Kieran Hodgson plays Prince Andrew, and sings a “rip roaring” finale song You’re Always Gonna Need an Andrew.
“The story of Prince Andrew is tragedy and farce rolled into one, so why not add ‘musical’ for good measure?” Kieran said about his latest project.
“Some might find the prospect of writing and performing their first TV musical a tad daunting. Not me. I found it completely terrifying.”
