SAS star Ant Middleton hits out at 'woke patrol' for making show easy after exit

SAS Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton has hit out at the show after his abrupt exit last year.

He was dismissed from the show in 2022 due to “personal conduct.”

He has been replaces by hardcore martial arts instructor Rudy Reyes, however the former frontman of the show has been less than impressed with Rudy and has previously called him and “uglier” version of himself.

He has now said that the show is too much like “reality TV” and ut us more interested in the celebs “sob stories” than the challenges.

He continued: “When it first started, it was these hardcore individuals who thought they had what it took, so we put them through the mill, we didn’t care who they were, what background they came from.

“It was interesting to know about their background but, ultimately, they were there to test themselves, physically, psychologically, and emotionally.”

He explained that it used toi be the “instructors who controlled the process” but noe production takes on a lot of the format behind the scenes.

Jeremy agreed with him saying that the show no longer feels “organic.”

However he explained that “times move on” and he is not holding any grudges.

He said: “But, times move on, TV moves on, woke patrol comes in, political correctness has a big play with everything, and then the whole format changes.

“You know what, it’s probably good for this day and age right now, because people like to hear about sob stories and what goes on in people’s lives, good luck to them.”
