Stacey Solomon’s real views on the Royal Family have emerged in a resurfaced video amid the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The monarch is celebrating 70 years on the throne this Bank Holiday weekend, with Piers Morgan predicting it could be the “last Jubilee we ever see”.
But the celebrations also come amid a swirling cost of living crisis in the UK.
And in Stacey’s clip, taken from a Loose Women episode, the X Factor star admits she “just doesn’t get” the fuss about the Royals.
Stacey could be seen explaining: “I just don’t get it. I don’t get any of it. I don’t get why we’re so obsessed with these humans that are exactly the same [as us]. Like it could be us four sitting there. Like, I just don’t get it.”

Her co-star Kaye Adams asked her: “But are you talking about, what you mean as Royals? Or as like Kim Kardashian? Because for me they’re becoming celebrities.”
As Stacey said: “Well, to me, that’s all they are.”
Stacey went on to a chilly dispute with Kaye, who said the Queen is “brilliant” for her unparalleled “sense of duty” and work she puts in as monarch.

But Stacey argued: “But I would work hard if the whole country paid for me to have, like, 12 houses.
“People are thinking that already. It’s freezing cold outside and people are homeless and these people have houses to spare and it does sometimes become a little bit frustrating because I don’t see the purpose of all of that money going to this entire family.”
Fans were left divided by Stacey’s opinions, with plenty chiming in to support the star.

One Twitter user said: “I do love Stacey Solomon. God bless Her Majesty and let her have her big day, but I really don’t understand ‘she works really hard’ as an argument. She doesn’t work harder than, say, a staff nurse… but earns 200 times more.”
As someone else said: “I love Stacey Solomon she’s so real for this actually!”
And a third echoed: “I am with Stacey Solomon on this 100%.”
Others agreed to disagree, however, as one posted: “Ironic that Stacey doesn’t get it, when millions of people who watch her television, buy products that she sponsored, follow her on Instagram, pay for her lifestyle because she once lost a singing competition. Stacey, I don’t get all that celebrity sh**, but I’m loyal to my Queen.”
As another chimed in: “Kardashians only serve themselves the Royals and especially the Queen has given loyal service for years.”
