Strictly Come Dancing star Jayde Adams has hit back at a fat shaming troll on Twitter who made fun of her recent body positivity routine.
The comedian, 37, brought fans to tears with her Flashdance-inspired routine for this week’s movie-themed special that viewers called “joyful”.
Jayde and her partner Karen Hauer donned the movie’s iconic leotards to show that dancing is inclusive for everyone.

But writer and broadcaster Paul Embery sparked backlash from the star when he shared the dance clip alongside the caption: “Come back, Noel’s House Party. All is forgiven.”
Jayde responded asking Paul is he was “doing a Mr Blobby gag?” before saying: “I’ll give you another crack at it, as you seem like a well read bloke.
“But here are some that have already been done, so you don’t double up again.”
She went on to list a trove of fat insults in his comments, appearing to try and get ahead of any upcoming comments he might make.
Some of the comments included: “What do we want? A cure for obesity! When do we want it? After dinner,” “Strictly’s celebrity policy will be people who are bed bound next year” and “Stop picking on fat people, they have enough on their plates”
She went on to say: “P.S Nothing more sexy and alpha than a man who tweets 30 year old fat jokes about a woman who dared to go on a dance show.”
Fans rushed to the comments to applaud the star for her reply.
“I am so sorry that you have to put up with these ignorant and hurtful comments. It must get hard at times even for the most resilient of people. Sending you love,” said one fan.
Another echoed: “Good on you for owning it! The comments on his post are awful. You are clearly having the time of your life, comfortable with your body and have the balls to brush comments like his off.”
Speaking before the routine that gained a lot of praise last week, Jayde said: “This week for me is all about showing that dancers come in all different shapes and sizes. You don’t have to look a certain way to make people feel happy.
“Two women with very different physiques, dancing together and nailing it.”
Judge Motsi Mabuse said: “Thank you so much for that moment, I think it’s so beautiful to tell everyone that dancing is inclusive for everyone, all body types.”
