Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid came to the Queen’s defence after Daily Mirror journalist Kevin Maguire slams into her highness’ treatment of her son Prince Andrew.
ITV presenter Susanna Reid got into a royal debate as Good Morning Britain guest slammed the royal over how she’s dealt with Prince Andrew.
The GMB host jumped in the middle of Daily Mirror’s Kevin Maguire and Daily Mail’s Andrew Pierce – who were squabbling over their views on the matter.
During a conversation which started over a cake being made for Queen Elizabeth, just like how the victoria sponge was reportedly made for Queen Victoria.

However, Kevin took the sweet treat conversation and turned it slightly sour, mentioning how she has inappropriately dealt with the controversies regarding her son Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew has been accused of child sex offences and Kevin criticised the Queen for not holding him to account.
Kevin said: “Shielding a son that has been accused of what he is accused of what he’s been accused of, I know he denies it but it does not reflect well on her.
“She should be telling him to speak to the FBI and deal with it.”

To which Andrew replied: “He’s 61 he should be making his own decisions.”
Kevin then responded: “Well, he’s taking money from mummy, isn’t he? So he’s not making his own decisions he’s being funded, sorry if this cake has got a bit stale…”
GMB host Susanna tried to shut the conversation down, and give Kevin a dig, by saying: “Kevin, we do joke about that matter but when it comes to celebrating the Queen this year…

“The Daily Mirror no doubt will have a 70-page pullout celebration, platinum jubilee souvenir, and you will be taking the entire bank holiday weekend off.”
Her co-host Richard Madeley and Andrew Pierce then giggled at Susanna’s remarks.
The conversation then moved to the next segment where co-hosts Susanna and Richard welcomed a witness of the New York fire.
The blaze hit a tower block that has already killed many including nine children.
