American actor Tyler Sanders has passed away aged 18 and his death is currently “under investigation”.
The teenager was found at home in Los Angeles but the cause of death is currently unknown.
Tyler’s rep, Pedro Tapia, told TMZ that an investigation into the teens death is underway and an autopsy will be performed at his house in the next few days.
Tapia shared that Tyler was a “good kid who came from a good family.”
He also told US Weekly: “Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
The star is best known for his roles in 9-1-1: Lone Star which he starred in alongside Rob Lowe and Fear The Walking Dead with Kim Dickens.
He gained substantial recognition for his portrayal of Leo in the Amazon spin-off series Just Add Magic Mystery City, for which he was nominated for an Emmy.
Tyler’s other credits include ABC’s “The Rookie” and also appeared in several TV movies.
After hearing the news, many of Tyler’s fans took to his final Instagram post to share their sadness over his passing.
Underneath a photo of the teen wearing a three-piece blue suit, one user wrote: “So young and so talented. May you RIP.”
“Incredibly heartbreaking. Rest easy king,” another commented.
A third penned: “Rest easy brother.”
“Rip young soul… My condolences to your family and friends,” another user said.
While a fifth commented: “So sad, gone too soon and way too young to die. Rest easy buddy. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you on 911 Lonestar.
The Texas native got into professional acting at the tender age of 10, going on to study improv and stand-up comedy.
According to his IMDB bio, Sanders also worked with Leah Remini on a pilot back in 2017 and also has two projects still yet to be released, titled The Price We Pay and Shock!.
