Amanda Holden embarrassed as she uses 'intimate wipes' to remove make-up in huge blunder

Amanda Holden made an embarrassing confession during the latest episode of her new BBC show.

Appearing alongside pal Alan Carr on their new show Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job, The Britain’s Got Talent judge was seen strolling through the streets in the picturesque town of Salemi when she admitted a very awkward beauty blunder.

As the pair chatted about the refurbishment challenge, Amanda revealed she has been using “intimate wipes” meant for private parts to remove her make-up.

“This morning, I looked at the packet and it said “intimate” so I think they’re wipes for your nether regions – and I took all my make-up off with them.”

Alan, 46, gasped in horror, before pointing to a dead pigeon lying on the pavement.

“That pigeon heard you using your intimate wipes and fell out of the sky,” he told her.

Amanda and Alan jetted out to Italy last year to film their BBC One property show.

The pair are up to some hilarious shenanigans as they attempt to renovate two dilapidated properties that Amanda managed to purchase for just one Euro a piece.

Their task is to combine the two adjacent properties into one large beautiful home.

Tonight’s episode (February 3rd) saw the pair tackle the dishevelled courtyard at the back of the home which was in need of some serious structural work.

A metal mesh that was installed decades ago to protect the structure against earthquakes and reinforce the wall had rusted significantly and the plaster on top was in bad shape.

Alan admitted to his close friend: “We should’ve really had a good old test to see if there was that mesh behind before we bought it.

“We should have done some research. Doesn’t it put it into perspective though – a Euro.

“I’m telling people I’ve bought a house for a Euro, they’re like ‘Ooh I’d like to do that, get me one, get me one!’ Listen, love, it’s not as easy as it seems.”

After hearing the lengths of work required to fix the work, Alan added: “It might be the most expensive Euro you’ve ever spent.”

“You just have to keep going. We’ve done too much great stuff, so we have to keep working on it and trying stuff.”
