Proof of the shadowy cult known only as the Illuminati might have finally been discovered – and it involves major Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.
A spooky new theory is accompanied by a resurfaced video of the star when she was just 23 years old, in which Angelina discusses being “tied down” and tattooed, but insists it’s nothing to do with S&M.
In a clip shared by illuminatibot on Twitter, Angelina can be seen sitting with friends in a dark room, before saying: “It’s like, I would’ve filmed it in order to encourage, like, everybody, all different types of celebrities, but there is that thing where it’s like…

“A lot of people misunderstand it, maybe with S&M, and they think it’s superficial. Then I have to explain to people where it’s more like you’re tied down because you need to, like, have something hold you down to keep you still.”

The actress then added: “Or like, you’ll go absolutely mad.”
Angelina then said: “You’ll be able to heal when you’re beaten, so it comes from that real, real place of, like… you know, as opposed to being accessories or something.
“It’s like tattoos, with me, afterwards there was that time where I was like, ‘Oh, I have tattoos’ and after a while, you’re like, you can explain them and they can mean things. It comes from that real place.”
One of Angelina’s friends then comments: “I don’t know, I only saw the film she brought over that night. People who are, like, darker, like that kind of… you know.

“It’s a great thing to be able to see everybody’s sexuality, but it’s so weird when you just… I have like, the most amazing, compromising pictures of people.”
According to illuminatibot: “During the Illuminati ritual, you are indeed tied up, sodomised and tortured by other members.
“The pain is often so intense, many participants quit midway through.”
The user then explains inductees are encouraged to introduce other members into the shadowy organisation.
Adding: “Angelina explains the satanic objects used in the ceremony aren’t just superficial. They truly summon dark spirits that create a real bond between yourself and Satan.”

As for the tattoos: “Many members also get tattoos during the ritual, to sacrifice more blood to Satan.”
However, Angelina never once says the word ‘ritual’ in the video – which some fans are accusing of being a deep fake.
And her words are definitely vague enough that she could be discussing literally anything else involving tying a person up. In some cases, the subtitles don’t match what she’s saying, and some of her words are entirely inaudible.
But fans are freaking out anyway, with one begging: “Weird. Is this real?”
As someone else echoed: “WTF!”
“Omg things do happen,” a third social media user echoed.
