Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis caused chaos on the set of BBC’s The One Show.
The actor joined the long-running BBC magazine programme to promote the third series of the popular Apple TV plus show.
However, he had viewers in hysterics on the chat show when he made a bizarre admission over his motivation behind his character alongside Hollywood actress Isla Fisher.

The hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas first suggested to Isla, 47, that she would make a brilliant football coach.
The Blithe Spirit film actress exclaimed: “I have no technique I am pretty ebullient and I’m also passionate but I can be aggressive so I don’t know if I would maybe disincentivize the kids by shouting a bit too loudly.”
Turning to Jason she suggested: “I feel like you’d be better than me.”
However, he replied: ‘I’m not much of a shouter yeah, I like shouting at other people’s kids, those are the real knuckleheads, my kids are very well behaved.”
The studio then erupted in laughter as viewers took to social media in their droves to express their own excitement.
One said: “Next time I expect at least 1 hours notice when Jason Sudeikis is making a tv appearance!!!”
A second wrote: “A very enjoyable interview with ‘Ted’.”
A third penned: “Never seen an episode of Ted Lasso but they seem to be drooling over him.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Loving Jason Sudeikis on #TheOneShow. “
However some viewers were more concerned after he jokingly ruled himself out of taking a role as a manager of the Tottenham Hotspur team.
One fan wrote: “Ted Lasso rules himself out of retaking the Spurs job.”
A second exclaimed: “Lol @jasonsudeikis just said he wouldn’t take the spurs job.”
Whilst a third said: “Spurs getting bantered on #TheOneShow now We’ve plumbed now depths folks.”
