Britain’s Got Talent champ Viggo Venn reveals what he spent prize money on

Britain’s Got Talent 2023 champ Viggo Venn has revealed that he is spending his prize money on hi-vis vests.

The comedian had the nation giggling when he performed his act in one on the ITV show.

And now he’s a big star, he’s using so many he’s had to start bulk-buying them.

He told me: “I give out so many vests at every show I do. So I’ve had to buy more. So far it’s been 1,600 of them. I made a deal with a company to get them. I’ve got more arriving next week.

“It’s the only thing I’ve been spending my prize on.”

Britain’s Got Talent has made Viggo a hit with fans around the globe as the Norway-born star gets messages from countries including Spain and Canada

Whilst some branded his win controversial, with some people going to Ofcom about the victory, his career is going from strength to strength

Viggo revealed he wants to blow the cash on hi-vis vests

He said: “I get messages from all over the world. People send me videos of them dancing in a hi-vis vest.

“There are hundreds of them. I make them happy. Since I won, every day has been the craziest day of my life.”

Viggo is taking his act on tour around the UK this autumn, which kicks off in Milton Keynes on October 23.

His victory sparked controversy as some fans were shocked

He said: “My dream was to become a British comedian and that’s happening now. I’ve learned anything is possible.”

BGT returns next year on ITV, with Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli set to return to the judging panel.
