Britney Spears has decided to come off Instagram days before the release of her tell-all book.
The 41-year-old pop star has deactivated her account as her memoir, The Woman In Me, continues to make headlines across the world after bombshell revelations were revealed ahead of its release on October 24.
Teaser excerpts from the book have revealed details about her three-year romance with fellow singer Justin Timberlake in the 2000’s — which has also prompted the NSYNC band member to receive backlash.

In the book, mother of two Britney confesses to cheating on the Cry Me A River hitmaker with her dancer and also revealed sordid details about how she had an abortion at age 19 because Justin “wasn’t ready to be a father”.

Just before she decided to deactivate her Instagram page, the Womaniser singer shared her fears about the drama already stirring around before she even releases the full tell-all with all of the explosive revelations in its entirety.
In a series of now-unavailable posts, Britney wrote: “I don’t like the headlines I am reading. That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago.” She noted that most of what she wrote about in her memoir are recollections from many years ago and she has already turned the page so to speak.

“Most of the book is from 20 years ago,” she continued. “I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here!!!” Britney explained that she wants to focus on the present and future and not look back on her past. The pop star added: “I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!! Either way, that is the last of it and s*** happens !!!”
Britney’s former songwriting partner Annet Artani spoke to TMZ and refuted one of her claims about infidelity in the book. Artani — who helped the singer pen Everytime in 2003 — said that the pop icon’s “affair” with Wade Robson was allegedly more serious and scandalous than she claimed.

In her tell-all, the singer confirmed past rumours and confessed that she had a onetime kiss with her dancer during her three-year relationship with Justin but Annet said Britney had “written and hidden a 14-page breakup letter to the dancer” — something she said most people don’t do for “someone you only kissed”.
Annett recalled that Justin had found Britney’s note and “discovered it hidden in her makeup bag before she had the opportunity to give it” to the dancer. Shortly after, the NSYNC member ended up breaking up with the pop star via a text message, which left her “devastated and ‘comatose” as she also talked about in her memoir.
