Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Harries rushed to intensive care after brain surgery

Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Harries has been moved into intensive care as her mum begs fans to continue to pray for her.

The reality TV star, 45, had brain surgery after being admitted to hospital with a mystery medical condition.

The news about that surgery was revealed earlier in the month by her mum, Katy, who posted on Twitter to ask for prayers and positive thoughts for her daughter’s speedy recovery and sharing a photo of Lauren with her head shaved.

“As you know this is Lauren’s worst nightmare but she would have died if not. The amazing staff in the Heath Hospital have been wonderful.

“Thank you for your kind words, her recovery ahead. Update to follow.”

Fans will be hoping that the ICU move is just a precaution and that she’ll soon be back on her feet.

Lauren was a regular in Big Brother’s Bit On The Side before becoming a contestant herself in Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.

She first appeared on telly in the 1980s on Wogan when she was a kid. More recently, she was a star of Naked Attraction four years ago.
