Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman looked unrecognisable in a throwback snap with blonde hair and no fringe.
The TV personality, 51, has made quite a name for herself with her signature bangs. Which includes her famed shiny raven hair and a choppy full fringe. However, many years ago the BBC’s The Traitors star looked totally different having sported contrasting locks. Fans of the star were left in utter shock as Claudia unsurfaced the blast-from-the-past image on social media.
In the image from 1995, she boasted mousey long blonde hair and no fringe. Leaving her loyal legion of follower needing to double-take to make sure it was her.

In a previous interview, Claudia explained she hadn’t switched up her look in over a decade. Speaking to Hello at the time, she said: “I haven’t seen my forehead for about 15 years.”
Claudia joked: “I don’t even know what’s under my fringe – there could be squirrels, parrots – I’ve got no idea. But no I can’t imagine ever getting rid of it.”

It isn’t just her beloved fringe that the mum-of-three couldn’t bare to be without. Chatting with Grazia Daily in 2020 Claudia confessed she’d become very fond of having a Strictly tan.
She told the publication: “Weirdly my hair is the least of my worries. I’ve only got my hair, that’s what I’m holding onto, everything else has gone to pot. My attempt at fake tan was a disgrace. I woke up with a whole handprint of it on my face”.

Claudia enjoyed finding a look in her 40s that she feels totally comfortable with to this day. Speaking about her regime she added: “I don’t think anybody should hold judgment. I have three tans a week for goodness sake.
The TV star jested: “I am burnt orange. I will use anything for my fake tan. I would use gravy. I have used mud before. I will use a brown Sharpie.”
