Coronation Street fans appear to have done a complete U-turn as they begged evil Stephen Reid to kill again.
Stephen has been despised amongst fans since murdering Leo Thompkins in September last year and hatred for the character has only deepened since he took the life of Leo’s dad, Teddy Thompkins just a few weeks ago.
During Monday’s episode of the ITV soap, Stephen met up with Rufus Donahue who has been dealing with Underworld staff members.

But it seems the businessman hasn’t been met with a positive response from fans as they are already demanding he be killed off.

Taking to social media with their requests, one fan penned: “#corrie Go on Stephen. Kill Rufus. He’ll only need a little bin. Probably fit in the hotel waste paper basket.”
“As much as we all hate Stephen I’m sure we would all love to see him kill off Rufus #Corrie,” added a second.
Echoing this, a third said: “To be honest, I wouldn’t mind if Stephen kills little Rufus.”

A fourth user begged: “Could Stephen please kill Rufus,” as another wrote: “Right Stephen hurry up and kill this freak #Corrie.”
After heading to Rufus’ hotel, Stephen asked him to reconsider their offer once he made it clear he wasn’t interested.
Rufus then handed Stephen a vial of LSD before heading into the bathroom to snort a line of cocaine.
Moments later, Rufus came out clutching his chest as he begged Stephen to call an ambulance.
As the paramedics wheeled Rufus out, Stephen practiced Rufus’s signature on the unsigned contract when he heard a knock at the door.
When a sex worker named Candice barged her way in and demanded money, it gave Stephen an idea.
He headed to the hospital and used a voice message from Candice as a way of blackmailing Rufus into signing the contract.
