Dan Walker left fans confused during his Channel 5 interview with missing Nicola Bulley’s partner Paul Ansell.
The former BBC Breakfast host r conducted a “heartbreaking” chat with Paul as part of a special programme following the mum-to-two’s disappearance.
It has been two weeks since Nicola has been seen, with her going for a walk with dog Willow, close to the River Wyre in Lancashire.

Nicola’s phone was found on a nearby bench, with it still connected to a Teams call she had been on.

However, viewers were left baffled by some of the questions asked by Dan.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “What an absolute ridiculous question from Dan Walker asking “Are you going to be ok?”
Another added: ““Are you gonna be ok?” WTF Dan Walker.”
A third person said: “Can’t stand some of the stupid questions Dan Walker is asking #NicolaBulley’s husband.”
While. a fourth social media user said: “Are you going to be ok?’ what kind of a question is that?”
Before the interview aired to the nation, Dan shared a photo of himself and Paul on Twitter and revealed how upset the interview had made him.
Dan wrote: “It was heartbreaking to interview Paul Ansell for our special programme on his missing partner, Nicola Bulley.
“Paul is going through hell but says ‘Nicky would never give up on us so we will never give up on her’.
Former Strictly contestant Dan initially teased details of what to expect from Vanished on Thursday, tweeting: “Tomorrow we have a special programme on the search for Nicola Bulley.
“We’ll speak to experts, police, friends and family in an attempt to establish the facts in a case where a mum of two has seemingly disappeared without a trace.”
