She also admitted to using drugs before picking up her children from school, but she added that she would never smoke in the house as she did not want to leave “traces” behind for her kids.
She said in her autobiography: “By midday I was stoned. But it was OK because I could eat something and be fine by 3.30pm when I needed to leave before the school run.
“Three hours later, I had just finished my third joint and second jam doughnut and I stood in the middle of the room and thought, ‘is this what my life has come to?”‘
The star also said that she was “violently sick” after taking drugs, and that it left her feeling “physically ill, horrible and dirty”.
Patsy later turned her life around and enrolled on a Twelve Step Fellowship Programme, ending her addiction.
The star has since moved to California with her family, where she works as a lifestyle guru and runs a hair product business.
She also regularly shares photographs of her glamorous life in Los Angeles, while posting inspiring messages on her Instagram page, including one snap where she held her arms open wide and captioned the post: “Looking at yourself when you are in a happy mindset is so much nicer than when we are feeling low and defeated or depleted.”
