Viewers rushed to their keyboards as the soap remembered the Walford legend.

Martin later revealed that he’s been offered a few weeks well-paid work in Turkey but worried about being far away from Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) at such a tricky time.
It’s been a tough time for the family after they learned 12-year-old Lily was pregnant.
The schoolgirl was forced to hold back her tears in recent scenes as her peers made fun of her being pregnant during her first day back.
Lily sparked a huge family feud, after making a shocking U-turn on her decision to have a termination.
Baby daddy Ricky Jr, also 12, (Frankie Dayalso) decided to support Lily in bringing up their child and told her over text.
Lily told Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) the shocking revelation who replied: “He said it over text? I think there’s a few more chats to be had”
Fans will have to wait and see if Martin takes the job and leave Walford.
