Emmerdale viewers reckon they’ve figured out who really stole Will Taylor’s missing watch as they the blasted the soap’s “most boring storyline ever.”
As viewers tuned into the latest episode of the ITV soap, the lead story of the episode focused on the drama surrounding who the mystery thief of the watch was, with Will accusing Sam of being the perp.
But as Lydia insisted to everyone who will listen that Sam did not take the watch, it was later found on Gabby’s baby son Thomas – though fans are sure it was only planted there to disguise the real culprit.

And they’re praying for the storyline to end as soon as possible.
“Anybody else reckon Nicky stole the watch originally but when he saw Will going for Sam it made him change his mind and hand it back? #Emmerdale,” one viewer tweeted.
Some viewers believe a new employee may have stolen the watch, saying: “Maybe the new guy nicked that watch but of course these idiots haven’t considered that.”
Other suggested the nanny was the culprit, blasting: “I think the childminder stole the watch #emmerdale,” with another agreeing: “Search the #Dingle Wells for Will’s watch! Even though we know that the Manny has the watch and will claim that Thomas pinched it! #Emmerdale.”
A third penned: “Could it be the babysitter/nanny bloke who stole the watch? I don’t believe he’s nice natured as he’s making out?”
Other believe Nicky stole the watch, adding: “Nicky 100% took that watch! #Emmerdale.”
But as the theories grow, many are blasting the boring storyline, with some viewers confessing to stealing the watch themselves just to get it over with.
“The real question isn’t who stole the watch – it’s who gives a flying f**k. #Emmerdale.”
“Ffs I took the watch #emmerdale,” said another.
“I’ll admit to nicking the watch if it will end this storyline #emmerdale,” penned a third, while a fourth added:
“This watch cr*p is literally the most boring storyline ever!”
Kim later apologised and offered Sam and Lydia their jobs back.
Despite telling her she was very hurt by the accusation, Lydia agrees but wanted Kim to understand that she is no longer a friend, just her boss.
Later, Will was shocked to learn Lydia and Sam had been reinstated and felt unsupported by Kim, but she didn’t have time to dwell on this as Caleb arrived to sign off on the stud farm. Frustrated Will said he believed Caleb is a shyster but Kim didn’t want to hear it.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
