Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who Jai Sharma’s biological father is and seem to think it could be Rishi’s “brother”.
It was all kicking off during Tuesday night’s show (June 27), after Jai confronted Rishi following his jaw-dropping adoption discovery.
Trying to work out who his real parents are, the pressure was mounting for Rishi who later revealed that Jai’s mum is still his mum but he was conceived after his mum had a one-night stand.

Rishi, who Jai believed was his dad, then told his “son” that he was forced to step up as his father.
But with Rishi still withholding vital information, Jai was clearly heated as he demanded the truth from him.
Seeing the drama unfold, fans also shared who they think Jai’s real father could be.
One viewer said: “Rishi is hiding something or someone relative perhaps a brother a bad apple in the family, banished from the family.”
Another penned: “Bet Jai’s biological dad isn’t just some one night stand but a relative of Rishi’s – brother or cousin?”
A third chimed: “I bet it was Rishi’s brother.”
Meanwhile, another suspicious fan said: “Why do I have a feeling Jai’s father may probably be his uncle or even worst, his grandfather? Rushi’s face says it all.”
However, fans were also confused with the fact that Jai only found out about his past recently and wanted to find out whether he had ever come across his birth certificate before which may have given him a vital clue about his past.
Taking to Twitter again, one confused spectator said: “Hasn’t Jai seen his own birth certificate? He’s got a passport so he must have seen it when he made the application.”
Another echoed: “The real mystery is how on earth has Jai NEVER seen his birth certificate and why the heck was it under the bed with a picture of young Jai and adoption papers. It beggars believe that they’ve thrown this storyline together without any thought. Where is it leading?”
While a third fumed: “Another stupid storyline cooked up last minute. Jai has been married, divorced, bought property, flown abroad which means he has a passport. All of which you would need a birth certificate for and you’re telling me he’s never seen it.”
