Ferne McCann has shared her newborn daughter’s name and explained it’s very unique meaning – which has a surprising link to an A-list celebrity.
The former TOWIE star welcomed her second daughter earlier this month, making her other little girl Sunday a big sister.
And the 32-year-old has now revealed her baby’s name, and it couldn’t be more different to Sunday’s.

Reality star Ferne and her partner Lorri Haines have named their daughter Finty Francis Haines.
Explaining the meaning, Ferne said: “It was on my name list when I gave birth to Sunday. I don’t know where I got it from, but when I typed it in [on Google] I saw Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname is Finty. I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else before.”
She added to OK! magazine: “I just feel so connected to the name – she came out and she was just Finty. I think she sounds like a character out of Bridgerton.”
According to MummyPages, the name Finty is of English origin and means “pure”.
And it’s a very rare name too, according to Popular Baby Names, with just four babies called Finty across the country in 2019.
Ferne went on to explain that Finty’s middle name is Francis, with the traditional male spelling, to honour her grandad.
She said: “It’s a nod to Grandad Frank.”
Ferne gave birth on July 6.
She already has daughter Sunday, five, with her ex Arthur Collins.
Before announcing Finty’s name, Ferne told her fans she would be sharing it soon after being inundated with questions.
When she announced the birth last week, Ferne’s famous friends and fans showered her with sweet messages.
Vicky Pattison said: “Congratulations guys! Another angel.”
Fellow TOWIE alum Danielle Armstrong said: “Aw welcome to the world baby girl. Loved cuddles yesterday, you are one beautiful little bubba. Congratulations to you both.”
And Essex hunk Mario Falcone commented: “Massive congratulations to you all. A little friend for Cali.”
