Hollyoaks favourite Jacqui Mcqueen was last seen on our screens almost 10 years ago.
Claire Cooper made her debut as the feisty character in September 2006 and was involved in some of the Channel 4 soap’s most gripping storylines.
During her time in the village, Jacqui was held at knifepoint for sex, covered up Calvin Valentine’s (Ricky Whittle) murder and the breakdown of her relationship with Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard).

It was announced on February 21 2013 that Claire had quit the shows and her final scenes aired in April the same year.
As Jacqui’s sister Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) falls back into old habits and turns to alcohol in a bid to distract herself from her killer son Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox), Daily Star has taken a look inside actress Claire’s life.

The McQueen family are still at the centre of the huge Hollyoaks storylines and fans have been calling for Jacqui to return since her exit.
As Mercedes and other relatives continues to cause chaos in the village, viewers have taken to social media to beg bosses to bring back Jacqui.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Let Mercedes off to Alicante bring back Jacqui or Porsche even if recast #Hollyoaks.”
Another added: “Surely there’s more castings coming soon because I know we’ve had Rayne and Lacey and we have a new Maalik and then Lucas’s recast but there’s so many leaving? We need some good returns like Jacqui and Myra.”
A third person said: “i feel like if Jacqui was still here, she would’ve dragged bobby to the police station herself.”
While a fourth social media user agreed: “Called for a Myra and Jacqui McQueen 2023 return!”
Co-star husband

While working at Hollyoaks, Claire began a relationship with co-star Emmett J Scanlan, who played Brendan Brady.
The couple met when Emmett joined the cast in 2010 and they got married in New York on New Year’s Eve in 2015.
They are proud parents to two-year-old son Ocean-Torin and three-month-old daughter Fiáin, who was born in Novemeber 2022.
Emmett previously revealed that Jacqui was left “fighting for her life” after they lost a baby a year before Ocean-Torin was born.

Claire and Emmett were forced to close down their bakery last year “due to the economic crisis”
The couple opened the Doughnut Whisperer in Chester last year, where the soap is set.
However, the pair had to temporarily close down the business due to the current economic crisis.
The announcement came months after Claire said opening the shop was a “dream come true”.

Claire is not one to shy away from the camera.
She wowed fans on the red carpet at the British Academy Television Craft Awards back in 2019.
The soap siren donned a black floor-length gown held up by luck alone for the occasion.
Claire enhanced her natural beauty with glam makeup and styled her signature brunette locks in a stylish up-do.
She accessorised her stunning look with a pair of bold earrings and matching rings.
Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
