Comedian Chris Rock feared being eaten by cannibals at the Burning Man festival in Nevada this weekend, amid flash flooding and attendees being ‘trapped’ at the event.
73,000 revellers have been left stranded in the Nevada desert amid freezing weather, while Chris Rock attempted his escape with a group of attendees.
At least seven people, including Rock and DJ Diplo, jumped in the back of a pickup truck as several more inches of rain have been forecast for the event.

Torrential downpours saw access to the site totally cut off in most cases, with attendees resorting to wearing ski goggles to protect their eyes from the dust.
Diplo took to Twitter to update fans on his whereabouts, sharing a video which included Chris and writing: “Just walked 5 miles in the mud out of Burning Man with Chris Rock and a fan picked us up.”
Diplo also admitted to CNN that Chris feared being eaten alive by starving people if he stayed any longer, joking Rock is “going to have a huge bit in his next special” about the festival.
“He thought there was going to be cannibalism a day later and didn’t know if people were going to run on our camp and steal our stuff,” he confessed.
The DJ also said on Instagram: “After walking 6 miles through the mud… all Chris could think about was a f***ing cold brew.”
It comes as one death has already been confirmed at the event.
The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office said it is “currently investigating a death which occurred during this rain event”, and there are even fears that it could see a return of World War I disease Trench Foot with revellers forced to live in squalid, muddy conditions.
Attendees have been told to preserve their food and water as organisers prevented people from leaving, while portable toilets on-site aren’t being emptied because service trucks simply cannot get to them.

Bizarrely, among the madness, there have even been rumours of a deadly Ebola virus outbreak at the event – but this is not the case.
The “wildest festival of the year” was supposed to be a nine-day event of fun and wild competitions – from “circle jerks” to whippings.
Body washes and “happy ending” massages are also on offer every day, with a Naughty Naked Village set up for “spankings” – along with an Orgy Dome for “couples and moresomes” to have fun.
