Victoria, meanwhile, became a household name in 1995 under her “Posh Spice” persona as the Spice Girls debut single, Wannabe hit the top of the charts in over 35 countries.

Over the course of three albums, the five girls netted up to £60m per year each, according to Rolling Stone magazine, whilst a reunion tour in 2008 saw them each bank another cool £50m.

After the group split in 2001, Victoria embarked on a solo career to moderate success, before becoming a model, first appearing at London Fashion Week.

After collaborations with the likes of Dolce and Gabbana and Rock & Republic, she launched her own denim label, dvb Style in 2006 as well as her own eyewear range.

Two years later she launched a fully-fledged fashion label and after big names from the celeb world including Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey donned items from her collection, her Victoria Beckham Ltd annual turnover grew to £30m in less than a decade.

As well as collaborations with Tesco, Range Rover and H&M, Posh has also signed several lucrative endorsement deals of her own along the way, including a £12m contract with Armani in 2009.
