Hollywood actor Tom Sizemore tragically passed away on March 3 2023 after he suffered a brain aneurism caused by a stroke in February.
Known for starring in films such as Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbour, the 61 year old was in a coma since his reported stroke last month.
But away from his on-screen persona, where he was often depicted as the quintessential Hollywood hardman in supporting role positions, Sizemore lived a turbulent life.

The actor had history of drug addiction, and experienced several run-ins with the law throughout the course of his career which hit headline on a number of occasions.
Following his 30 year whirlwind career in Hollywood, Daily Star has taken a look inside his wild life.
Substance abuse
Sizemore battled with drug addiction from the age of 15 which lead to serious issues later on his life.
During the early 2000s, while filming television series Robbery Homicide Division, Sizemore was dealing with serious drug problems.
Throughout the years he used heroin, crystal methamphetamine and cocaine, and he was often in and out of rehab.
In October 2004, he pleaded guilty to a felony count of possessing methamphetamine and was quickly placed on probation.
However the probation was revoked a year later when he was caught using a prosthetic device to fake a drug test. His probation was then later reinstated.
In 2010, Larry King questioned him about his drug intake and his road to recovery on his CNN show.
After the actor admitted to being sober for 326 days, Larry asked: “What was the longest you were ever sober before that?”
Sizemore replied: “A couple minutes. No, that’s not true. I got sober in ’97 and was sober through 2002.”
Domestic violence
As well as his battle with drugs, Sizemore had run-ins with the law due to his reported violent behaviour.
In 2003, the True Romance actor was convicted of domestic violence charges against his former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.
At the time, the star was ordered to complete a drug rehabilitation programme before beginning his jail term.
In February 2017, the actor landed himself in hot water again as he pleaded no contest to two charges of domestic abuse for assaulting his girlfriend.
Sizemore was later sentenced to 36 months of summary probation, 30 days of community service, as well as a year-long domestic violence program; he was also subject to two protective orders associated with the charges, and ordered to pay various fees.
The deal was made in order for him to avoid spending 210 days in jail.
Liz Hurley affair
The Hollywood star hit headlines again in 2013 when he claimed that he and actress Elizabeth Hurley had a secret, three-year affair while she was dating Hugh Grant during the ’90s.
In his memoir By Some Miracle I Made It Out Of There, Sizemore claimed he had fallen for Liz while on the set of the 1992 movie, Passenger 57.
He also revealed that they ended up going back to LA with each other once filming had wrapped up.
He wrote: “That’s when I found out that she already had a boyfriend back in England: Hugh Grant,’ he wrote.
“Little did I know that everyone knew he was going to be a movie star any minute and he was a friend of Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown.
“Once I found out about him, Elizabeth started being honest with me about it. I’d be at her place and she’d say: ‘Hugh is coming in nine days – when do you think you should start taking your things out?’
“I’d get tearful and not let her see it. I just loved her,” he added.
Sex Tape
In 2005, Sizemore was hit with another scandal after a sex tape of himself began to circulate.
The 70-minute sex video reportedly made by Vivid Entertainment showed him participating in “hard-core scenes with up to three women at a time” – began to circulate.
In a statement to The Sydney Morning Herald at the time, he said: “This is the maraschino cherry on the banana split of bad luck I have been having.”
