Katherine Ryan has revealed that she would date “sweet” Prince Harry in a heartbeat and rescue him from his “really complicated” life.
And the Netflix star jokingly warned the Duke’s wife Meghan Markle that if Harry ended up leaving his Duchess for her, their royal romance was “never meant to be”.
Katherine, 35, spoke exclusively to Daily Star about Harry and Meghan after teaming up with meal kit company Gousto on their latest campaign Flavour that Pops ahead of the Academy Awards on Monday (March 13).

It comes just as the Duke and Duchess confirmed their baby daughter Lilibet has been christened at their California home.

Asked if she’d ever date Prince Harry, comedian Katherine cheekily replied: “I would date him tonight. I would leave my children and my husband in the dust…”
When suggested she might have to “steal” Prince Harry from Meghan, Katherine joked that she wouldn’t want any grief from the Duchess.
The comedian quipped: “I would want no animosity. No man can be stolen from any woman, that’s how I feel about it. If they stray, it was never meant to be.”

But she quickly added that her hubby Bobby Kootstra is actually the only man for her, adding: “No. My husband’s probably the only person in the world that I find even hotter than Prince Harry.”
The stand-up comic said she’s got an urge to rescue “sweet” Harry as he’s had “tragedies” in his life, and that ladies like her have a “rescue syndrome”.

“I was always captivated by his story,” she said. “He seems like a sweet guy and I have a rescue syndrome, maybe, where you think, ‘Oh god, he’s had some tragedies in his life.
“‘His life now looks really complicated and I could be the one to take him away from that.’
“I think a lot of girls have that, that’s why we fancy that bad one in the boyband. We go ‘Oh, I can help.”
Asked what she thought of Meghan, Katherine was full of praise for the Duchess – and one feature in particular.

“I love Meghan Markle,” Katherine said. “It’s so shallow but when she first came to this country I just thought she was the most beautiful woman with the skinniest ankles that I’d ever seen in my life.”
Katherine has just welcomed her third baby – Fenna Grace – with partner Bobby Kootstra – their second child after their son Fred arrived in 2021.
She also shares her 12-year-old daughter Violet with her ex-husband.
