Kerry Katona praises EastEnders for Stacey Slater's OnlyFans storyline on BBC soap

Kerry Katona has revealed she’s a huge fan of EastEnders’ new OnlyFans storyline – and that she’d love to pose for Playboy following news of the glam mag’s comeback.

The former Atomic Kitten has turned to OnlyFans herself and has claimed to have become a millionaire again from her venture on the racy adult sharing site.

And in her latest column for OK! magazine, Kerry told readers that she thought the storyline shone a light on the way OnlyFans has helped people make extra cash during the cost of living crisis.

“I think it’s brilliant that OnlyFans is being represented on a prime-time soap,” she wrote. “OnlyFans is becoming more and more popular and it is a great money earner.

“It’s great news that Playboy is making a comeback, too. I would absolutely love to pose for it, especially at my age.”

In the soap, Stacey has now turned to making X-rated content as she struggled to make ends meet as the cost of living crisis hit Albert Square.

Kerry added a dig to rival Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks after they dropped actress Sarah Jayne Dunn shortly after she signed up to the site: “And it just goes to show how out of touch Hollyoaks was for dropping Sarah Jayne Dunn after she joined the site.”

Sarah is said to reportedly be making £700,000 from the subscription site after being axed from her £120,000 acting job in the soap.

In October last year, she celebrated a year since leaving Hollyoaks and turning her career towards OnlyFans.

“It was scary as hell, I didn’t really know what direction this journey would take me in,” she wrote on her Instagram.

It’s been over a year since Sarah left Hollyoaks

“I just knew that I had to do what was right for me and my family, and standing my ground and following my heart and my gut has taken me on the most exciting journey over the last year.

A journey of freedom, empowerment, taking back control, joy and fun,” Sarah concluded. “I believe everything happens for a reason and I have zero regrets over my choices.”
