Louise Redknapp’s friends are reportedly worried that she will end up “heartbroken” amid her new romance.
The singer, 48, sent fans wild last week when she was snapped with her new man, Drew Michael. Her rumoured new romance comes six years after divorcing former footballer, Jamie Redknapp.
Louise looked happy and smitten as she strolled through London’s Soho along with the military CEO. However, it’s now been reported that pals are “concerned” for the mum-of-two.

After Louise went public with her new beau, she addressed the big change in her life during an interview with The Mirror. “It’s so difficult with your personal life… it’s all good,” she revealed. Louise added: “Yeah, I’ve got nothing else to say on it, everything about it has already been written.”

But it seems Louise’s new man hasn’t got the green light from her pals. Apparently, they’re worried over how things allegedly ended in his last relationship.
A source claimed: “Drew didn’t behave in the best way in a former relationship – he left one girl in particular feeling hurt.” The insider added to Closer Magazine: “It’s good news that he’s happy dating Louise, but there is a worry she could end up heartbroken.”
Louise was married to Jamie from 1998 until 2017, when they called time on their romance and separated. The pair, who have two sons together, had their divorce finalised not long afterwards.

Earlier this year, the star teased that she was open to dipping her toe in the dating pool once again. She told The Times: “People ask me about dating and although I wouldn’t say I ever go out actively looking, I’ve got an open heart for what the future may bring. Right now, though, all of my energy goes into my boys and my job,” she added.
Meanwhile, Jamie got married again in 2021, to model Frida Andersson. The couple welcomed a baby boy together later that year.

Speaking to HELLO!, Louise admitted that Jamie’s new marriage and their split divorce years ago have had an impact on their sons. She revealed: “I’ve felt this as a mum and, to say this in the most sort of respectful way, my boys’ lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when obviously Jamie got married and had a family.”
