Jess found herself on the date after she was voted one of the least compatible couples in the villa by her fellow islanders.
After debriefing them on her date, she soon began revealing her true feelings about their vote, telling them it was a total “cop out.”
Jess said: “we are compatible in how much we have in common, so I just feel like it was a cop out for a lot of people.
Both Whitney and Catherine denied it was a cop out, with Whitney adding: “There’s no denying you and Sammy get along but you guys just clash.”
Fans at home chimed in on the drama.
“Jess and Sammy are taking this TOO seriously get a grip. You’ve spent the last 3 days arguing!!,” blasted one fan.
“Sorry but Jess needs to get a grip it’s really not this deep,” penned a second.
A third added: “Jess is one of those people is always the victim… and never let’s it go.” There is an acronym for that. NPD,” while a fourth echoed: “Jess please Why the fu** she’s crying.”
Elsewhere, Scott Van De Sluis clashed with Sammy Root after the Welsh footballer wasn’t happy with Sammy’s claim that Scott wasn’t physically attracted to Catherine Agbaje.
Scott and Catherine had been growing closer since Scott’s arrival in the villa.
However, their relationship faced scrutiny during the compatibility challenge when Sammy raised doubts about their connection.
During the conversation on Wednesday night, Scott confronted Sammy, expressing his displeasure at Sammy’s remark about him not being physically attracted to Catherine and their lack of physical touch.
Sammy defended himself, stating that it was his perspective.
In response, Scott retorted by questioning the definition of compatibility. He argued that based on the number of arguments Sammy had, one could argue that Sammy and his partner were not compatible.
Sammy countered by asking about the argument frequency between Ty and Ella.
When it came time for their fellow Islanders to vote, Scott and Catherine received two votes as the couple considered least compatible.
