Michael Jackson famously befriended his beloved chimpanzee Bubbles until he was forced to give him up.
Bubbles was born in 1983 in a research facility in Texas but at just eight months old he became Michael’s pet and they were regularly seen together, with Bubbles living in his Los Angeles family home.

He later moved to Neverland with the famous singer, but after the chimp grew to 12 stone and Michael feared for the safety of his son Prince, he was moved to the ranch of California trainer Bob Dunn in 2003.
And now, years after his death, celebrity psychic Jasmine Anderson told Daily Star how Michael has regrets over his final years.
She said: “Michael is showing me that he had some much love for Bubbles and that Bubbles offered him an unconditional love that he was longing for.
“He wishes that he could have had more time with Bubbles before he went to live in a Sanctuary.”
Jasmine added: “Although he doesn’t regret his life with Bubbles he does wish had allowed him to be with his own kind sooner.
“He’s happy he’s enjoying his life allowed to be just a chimp and that he didn’t realise that living humans would have had the impact it had on him. He wants to thank him for being one of his closest friends and companions.”
Bubbles remains happily at a Sanctuary, with the Center for Great Apes writing on their website: “Jackson always maintained ownership of Bubbles, his first and favourite chimpanzee, whom he treated like a son.”
They explained how after Michael’s death, his estate has continued to support the care costs for him.
It was stated that Bubbles is treated as a “dominant male” in his group of chimpanzees and has best friends, Ripley and Oopsie, as well as Boma and Jessie.
They added: “Bubbles enjoys quiet moments and painting. He gives the canvas back only when he is finished and does not limit his painting to the canvas!”
