Nadia Sawalha’s husband, Mark Adderley, films her sexy celebrity spoof videos but the Loose Women star admitted she is mindful of what she shares online because she doesn’t want to be “gross”.

Over the past year, the 58-year-old has delighted fans with her hilarious and down-to-earth videos mimicking celebrities to promote body positivity and acceptance.

The former EastEnders actress’ recreations have gone down incredibly well with fans and has seen the star strip to the bare minimum in the light-hearted clips.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star, Nadia revealed she often gets nervous about posting this type of content but knows it will benefit her followers.

She said: “My husband films them for me and sometimes I look at the videos and think, ‘I don’t know if I can’, but then I realise that’s the point, when you don’t think you can, that’s the point when you’re going to touch other people that feel like that.”

Nadia continued: “It is about getting a real balance because sometimes it can go too far.

“I’m mindful because I don’t want to be gross and too much but I’ve got to be enough so that other women are going, ‘Right, she knows what this means when she talks about cellulite’.”

Recalling the first time she posted one of her famous recreations, Nadia went on to say: “I did my first one and people really loved it.

“When I read all the comments, it made me feel better about my insecurities because suddenly there were so many women saying, ‘I’m going to show this to my daughter’ or, ‘You’ve made me feel so much better today’.”

Nadia became an ambassador for true-crime TV channel CBS reality and admitted she may have opted for a different career path had she known about the channel sooner.

“I think if there had been crime channels like CBS reality and podcasts when I was a child, though I probably never would have been able to qualify because of my ADHD, I think I might have gone into criminology.”

Nadia said: “What I like about the way CBS Reality do it is that you have to remember there are victims and families.

“And I really hate the sensationalist stuff. I like the real grit of what happened and how we got there.”
