One of Neighbours’ former most well-known stars looks completely different to his time on the show after a lengthy legal battle.
Craig McLachlan portrayed the hunky Henry Ramsay on the hit Australian soap from 1987 to 1989. At the time, Craig played the brother of Charlene Robinson, who was played by pop superstar Kylie Minogue.
Now aged 57, Craig has ditched his permed mullet from the 1980s in favour of a wide shaggy hairstyle. He’s become something of a silver fox and has also has grown a thick grey beard that covers his face.

After working on Neighbours for two years, Craig was let go from the show, as his character Henry flew out to New Zealand to work as a DJ. But actor Craig believes he was “shunned” from the soap after it ended up bowing to pressure from so-called ‘cancel culture’.
After his stint on the show, he went on to star in another Aussie soap Home and Away as Grant Mitchell throughout the 1990s. After leaving the show, he became a popstar himself, bagging a top ten hit in the Australian charts with his song “Mona”.
But off-screen, McLachlan was dealing with a much more serious storyline of his own. In 2019, the Australian actor was charged with assault and sex offences against four women from 2014.

The allegations from the women came from when he starred in a production of the legendary musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Appearing in court, he faced one count of common law assault, eight counts of indecent assault and one count of attempted indecent assault.
But following a lengthy court case stretching well into 2020, Craig was cleared of the charges and awarded $500k AUD – the equivalent of £260,000 – in damages. Speaking after the incident, McLachlan admitted the charged had “ruined” his life.
He appeared teary-eyed following the court case, as he exclaimed: “You see this is not just about a headline for the day, this is ruining lives. “Not just me, you want to crucify me? Fine. Look what it’s done to my beautiful partner, look what it continues to do to my family every day.”
