Peter Andre has ‘straight forward’ but ‘strict’ rules for daughter and boyfriend

Peter Andre has revealed that he has put “strict” rules on his daughter Princess, as she starts a relationship with her first boyfriend.

The voice behind Mysterious Girl said that his guidelines are “very straightforward” but hopes that they will set a good example for his two younger kids.

Andre, 50, said that Princess, 16, has not yet had a sleepover with her new unnamed romance in his home.

Speaking to the Mail Online, he explained the pair must “be downstairs, the doors are open and it’s daytime”.

Peter also opened up to the publication about his tips for overlooking a teen romance.

“Any parenting tips or rules are only as good as they are in your house. My rules in my house are very straightforward. Everyone knows them, it’s not even a question,” he said.

He added that later “down the line if there is a sleepover, one can sleep downstairs”.

The Cooking with the Stars chef said that the younger children in the family would not want to see what the teens could get up to if left alone.

He also explained that for younger kids, it looks as if they are just having friends over, in case the relationship ends.

Peter is well-experienced as a dad, being the father to 18-year-old Junior with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as two children with current wife Emily.

The Aussie hunk recently came back to the UK after a fun-filled family holiday at their second home in Cyprus, gushing that the clan like to spend time together.

Andre added that he had built the house himself and rents it out, which gives the family a chance to jet away to the island when there is a gap.

The actor also said that Princess and Junior sometimes ask to have some alone time and go out, but the dad says that “we do spend a lot of time together and holidays are about being together”.

Peter’s career is going from strength to strength as rehearsals for Grease the Musical get underway.

He said that as well as starring in the London production of the West End smash hit, he is set to take the show to Australia, performing down under for the first time in 20 years.

It will also be a great opportunity to spend as much time as possible with his parents, Thea and Savvas, 87 and 80 respectively.

“I want to work out in Australia more so I can see them,” he told Mail Online.

“Obviously I go out to see them when I’m not working but the more I can get out there to see them is exciting.

“Mum and dad are at a stage now where quality time with them is everything”.
