Veteran actor Robert De Niro has secretly welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79.
In a bombshell new interview, the star confessed he is now a dad to a new baby.
When a reporter from ET Canada asked De Niro what it’s like being a dad of six, he was quick to correct them: “Seven actually. I just had a baby.”

The Oscar-winner has not confirmed the baby’s gender or name, nor who the mother is.
De Niro was last romantically linked to martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen, when the pair were spotted holding hands in July 2022.

Tiffany was spotted out at a restaurant with the Goodfellas star earlier this year while pregnant, with sources spotting them enjoying a meal together as Tiffany showed off her baby bump in a tight black dress.
He previously split from his wife of 20 years, Grace Hightower, in 2018.
De Niro was also married to Diahnne Abbot from 1976 until 1988.
The star already had six children – actress Drena, 51; real estate broker Raphael, 46; twins Julian and Aaron, 27; Elliot, 26; and Helen, 11.

Speaking of being a parent, De Niro told ET: “I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice.
“And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
Robert was initially locked in a custody battle with his ex-wife Hightower – though the pair eventually settled that dispute and are currently feuding over money in their high-profile divorce.

According to the actor’s attorney, Hightower spent an average of $215,000 a month on credit cards and $160,000 in cash – and the strain allegedly means the star is running out of money.
However, lawyers for Hightower claim that De Niro is worth $500million – though his estranged wife’s “extravagant lifestyle” is reportedly making things worse.
