Sarah Jayne Dunn wants soap comeback as she eyes up Corrie stint as racy femme fatale

Sarah Jayne Dunn has revealed she is eyeing up a dramatic new role on Coronation Street after her explosive exit from Hollyoaks two years ago.

Loyal fans of the 41-year-old actress will remember her from the Channel 4 soap where she played the role of Mandy Richardson on an off for 25 years.

But in 2021, the blonde bombshell was fired from the show after she launched her OnlyFans account where she shared her racy glamour shoots with fans online.

Now, the TV star has exclusively revealed to Daily Star that she would love to get back onto the silver screen on a rival soap when she attended the Mummy’s Star Ball in Manchester.

When asked if she would want to work on another soap in the future, she told us: “Yeah absolutely! Corrie would be ideal because it’s just down the road, and I love Corrie as well, it would be great, wouldn’t it?

“Can Corrie give me a call?” she joked. “I mean, it’s such an iconic show, isn’t it? And I’m a northern girl so it fits the bill really, doesn’t it?”

The only preface the actress had to returning to another soap was that she would want to play a completely different character to her previous roles throughout her career.

Sarah went on: “I think I’d want to play a very different character though. If I’m going from a soap to a soap, I think I’d want to be a bit of a villain with a dark past.

“Maybe a femme fatal – that would be really cool. I could be a female Phil Mitchell – without the bald head though please.”

But that’s not the only show the OnlyFans star would love to work on in the future, as she shared her love for Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The mum-of-one continued: “I’ve been asked to do loads of reality shows, but I can’t tell you them,” she teased.

“I’d do I’m A Celeb I think, well I say that, I’m scared of heights and I’m not very good with spiders but you have to lie with that show, so you know what? I take that back.

“I’m great with heights and I’m amazing with spiders,” she cheekily corrected. “I’d do I’m A Celeb and Strictly [Come Dancing] is another one that I’m desperate to do, I’m desperate to do Strictly.”
