The Chase host Bradley Walsh jokingly request an image overhaul from a contestant he welcomed onto the show.
As Carole from Wirral stepped up to take on Chaser Darragh Ennis aka The Menace, Bradley quizzed her on her home life and what she’d like to spend her cash on should she beat the Chaser.
Carole revealed that she worked as a furniture restorer in her new role formed from a hobby she’d picked up during Covid. She explained that she would turn “old, ugly things” and “make them pretty again.”

“I make really old, ugly boring things look pretty,” Carole told Bradley.
Bradley, 60, liked the sound of Carole’ job and cheekily asked: “What do you think you could do for me?”
In response, Carole quipped: “Oh, you don’t need it!”
She then stated that she’d use the money on a belated holiday gift for her husband Simon, after the UK lockdown ruined his 50th plans.
Carole revealed that her husband had kingly built her a workshop, should Bradley stop by for an overhaul, on the side of her house. Bradley encouraged Simon to make another shed for himself, with a “telly, shower and bed” inside.
Later on the show PR worker, Rhiannon told Bradley that if he needed to be represented by a firm, she’d be happy to take him on.
Bradley declined the offer, but the The Menace soon added: “He’s more in need of one of Carole restorations!”
Unfortunately for Bradley, Carole was caught by the Chaser and failed to take home any cash for the rest of her team, as was Rhiannon, leaving contestants Graham and Jason to battle it out for their prize fund of £11,000.
Sadly the duo were unsuccessful in the final Chase as the Menace out-quizzed them, taking home their cash prize.
